Performing Arts Festival of the Eastside

The April 2011 Festival had almost 300 musicians of all ages performing for adjudication in five divisions of classes totalling over 400 registrations. Michael serves on the Board of PAFE and was the master of ceremonies for the Concerto Playoff Concert and for each of four Recognition Concerts.

Northwest Mahler Festival 2011

In July, 2011, Michael Kysar was chorusmaster for the Northwest Mahler Festival with conductor Alex Prior. See more info on Alex on YouTube.com.

Fat Chance! Opera

Michael Kysar was one of the featured singers in the company's August 2011 performance. In a scene from Mozart's "Marriage of Figaro", Michael sang the part of the Count. Ya shoulda been there.
